Cash Handling:
Operating cash registers or electronic scanners to process transactions, including sales, returns, exchanges, and voids. You’ll need to handle cash, credit cards, checks, and other forms of payment accurately and securely.
Customer Service:
Greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and providing assistance with products, prices, and store policies. Ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience and addressing any concerns or complaints they may have.
Product Scanning and Pricing:
Scanning merchandise and ensuring that items are correctly priced and identified. You may also need to verify prices, weigh items, and apply discounts or promotions as necessary.
Bagging and Packaging:
Bagging customers’ purchases, arranging items in bags to prevent damage, and assisting with packaging larger items or bulk purchases.
